Mary Had a Little Lamb

Mary Had a Little Lamb is a beginner-level nursery rhyme piece that's perfect for anyone learning piano online. It uses 4 different notes (E, D, C, G) and a total of 26 notes, which makes it a great early piano song for memorising hand position and building confidence with simple piano notes.

1. Find E (just right of the two black keys) on the keyboard — that's your starting note for Mary Had a Little Lamb.
2. Click "Listen first" at the Slow speed to hear the melody. Watch which piano keyboard letters light up.
3. Switch to practice mode. The next note will glow on the piano — play it with your mouse, touchscreen, or computer keyboard.
4. Repeat the song two or three times at Slow speed before moving up to Normal. Speed comes from repetition, not effort.
